The classification of LaLiga's top scorers closed matchday 7 of the 2024/25 season without major changes at the top. Robert Lewandowski continues to lead the fight for the Pichichi and, against Getafe, he scored his 7th goal in the same number of games played, a goal that also allowed Hansi Flick's team to maintain the perfect pace in the League after a rather tight duel against the 'blue' team.

The culés opened the scoring in the 19th minute through the '9'. A center from Jules Koundé from the side led to the error of David Soria, who in his eagerness to clear ended up giving the Pole the chance. 'Lewy' only had to push it into the door, putting an end to his 'jinx' against the Madrid team. In his first two seasons in Spain, Robert had not been able to score against Getafe in the League.

Lewandowski extended his good scoring streak in LaLiga

The Warsaw player could have achieved another double this season, but Alderete and Djené managed to leave him offside in the 31st minute after the experienced striker determined a low pass from the sideline by Lamine Yamal. Once again, the '9' was very active inside the area, although his participation was diminishing in the complement until his departure in the 77th minute. The good thing is that he maintains his scoring streak, since, for the moment, he has only run out 'wet' against Athletic and Girona.

In total, Lewandowski had four shots on goal, two of them blocked by rivals and one saved by Soria. In addition, he completed 100% of his passes (12 of 12), with a couple of successful dribbles and 3 duels won in 4 attempts. Hansi Flick has managed to recover the best version of the experienced forward, dosing his minutes in a very demanding season. Against Getafe, Pedri was the one who came on in his place. The Tenerife native had a rest day, giving up his place on the field to Eric García.
