REAL SOCIEDAD-BARCELONA PREVIEW
Three possible absences from Barcelona's XI to face Real Sociedad
Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal, absent from training, and Pau Cubarsí with a swollen face and stitches, are doubtful for the match against Real Sociedad this Sunday
Saturday's training session at the Joan Gamper Sports City has left us with some bad news, at least for now. The doubts already foreseen about Pau Cubarsí's condition have been joined by two more players, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal.
Dani Olmo had a bad night, with general discomfort, and was unable to train with his teammates the day before the visit to Real Sociedad's ground. Although his participation is not guaranteed, Flick "hopes he will be ready for tomorrow."
Lamine Yamal, for his part, has trained in the gym apart from the group. In the press conference beforehand, Hansi Flick has sown more doubts about the physical condition of the forward, although he assured that he has options to travel.
"Lamine has played many games. We have to take care of him"
Regarding the possible absence of Pau Cubarsí, the German coach has been more forceful: "I think Pau will be there, he has trained the entire session." The defender has completed the training session with a mask to protect the wound on his face suffered against Red Star.
There are doubts, therefore, in Barça's starting eleven for the important match against Real Sociedad. However, Hansi Flick has assured that all three have options.
