Like last season, Real Madrid waited until matchday 4 of LaLiga to make their home debut at the Santiago Bernabéu due to the remodeling of the stadium. The 'merengue' fiefdom already shows a significant advance in its new façade
The works of Santiago Bernabéu show already an important advance in what it will be the new façade of Chamartín. As it was foreseen, the Real Madrid expected to the fourth day of LaLiga to première like venue, something that also requested the past season to give more weeks to the works of remodeling of the stadium that began in full pandemia, around the middle of 2020.

Florentino has spent almost 900 'kilos' in the new Bernabéu
In total, the cost of the remodeling of the 'White House' has gone until the 893 million euros, 350 'kilos' alone during the past season. In principle, Florentino Pérez had estimated that the work would cost around 500 millions, but the budget invested can surpass of long the 1.000M€. To commercial effects, the stadium has to be 100 % operative in January of 2024.
For this, the club requested a loan with a type of fixed interest of the 2,5 %, with a plan of amortizaciones annual of 29.5M€ to pay between 2023 and 2049. This has conditioned the investment in signings in the last three years, being this summer of 130 'kilos', sufficient to lead the raquítico Spanish market. The most expensive signing, of course, went Jude Bellingham (€100m), an investment that has given rédito immediate to the group 'merengue'.
