The works of Santiago Bernabéu show already an important advance in what it will be the new façade of Chamartín. As it was foreseen, the Real Madrid expected to the fourth day of LaLiga to première like venue, something that also requested the past season to give more weeks to the works of remodeling of the stadium that began in full pandemia, around the middle of 2020.
In this sense, the new external face of the Bernabéu luce, of far, more as a tin of sardines that the modern futuristic stadium that promised Floretino Pérez in 2015 when presenting the project. To commercial effects, the stadium has to be 100 % operative in January of 2024.
For this, the club requested a loan with a type of fixed interest of the 2,5 %, with a plan of amortizaciones annual of 29.5M€ to pay between 2023 and 2049. This has conditioned the investment in signings in the last three years, being this summer of 130 'kilos', sufficient to lead the raquítico Spanish market. The most expensive signing, of course, went Jude Bellingham (€100m), an investment that has given rédito immediate to the group 'merengue'.
