Robert Lewandowski maintains the lead in the LaLiga 24/25 top scorers table with 20 goals in the tournament despite not scoring against UD Las Palmas (0-2)

Calendar of FC Barcelona

LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25 did not register significant changes in the top scorers ranking on matchday 25. Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé remain with 20 and 17 goals, respectively, with the Pole keeping the lead for the Pichichi despite not scoring in FC Barcelona's victory against Unión Deportiva Las Palmas (0-2). The blue-and-burgundy '9' had a very discreet match where Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres carried the offensive weight of the team.

Robert had scored in four consecutive matchdays, but went blank in Gran Canaria just like Raphinha. The Brazilian remains the third top scorer of the tournament with 13 goals and on Saturday provided another assist, his seventh in the championship, leaving him four behind the leader, Lamine Yamal. The player from Mataró also provided a goal assist on Saturday, serving the partial 0-1 scored by Dani Olmo. The downside for the youth player is that he has gone four months without scoring in the tournament, after reaching 5 goals on matchday 11 against Real Madrid (0-4).

On Sunday, 'La Casa Blanca' won again after three consecutive setbacks that cost them the lead. Carlo Ancelotti's team defeated Girona (2-0) with goals from Luka Modric and Vinicius Jr. The '7' reached 9 goals in a match where Mbappé wasted multiple opportunities to close the gap with Lewandowski in the scoring lead. Gazzaniga's saves frustrated the '9', keeping the Catalans alive until the final stretch of a match clearly dominated by the locals.

Sancet and Ayoze Close in on the Top of the Scorers Ranking

Those who took advantage of matchday 25 to add goals were Oihan Sancet and Ayoze Pérez. The Athletic midfielder scored the fourth goal for the Basques in the thrashing of Valladolid (7-1) to equal Raphinha and Ante Budimir with 13 goals. The Villarreal forward, for his part, secured the victory for the 'Yellow Submarine' against Rayo (0-1) with his ninth goal of the season.

Another player who reached 9 goals in LaLiga was Julián Álvarez. The Argentine scored a brace in Atlético de Madrid's rout at Mestalla (0-3), a result that keeps the 'colchoneros' just one point behind Barça and Madrid with 13 matchdays left to play. Alexander Sorloth also scored his ninth goal against Valencia. Further back are Iago Aspas (Celta de Vigo), Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid), Javi Puado (Espanyol), and Thierno Barry, all with 8 goals.
