Tsunami Democràtic is pronounced on the Classic

The first Classical of the present edition of LaLiga Santander​ was programmed for this Saturday 26 October, but the incidents and the climate of tension in Catalonia as a result of the sentence to the leaders of the 'Procés' did that LaLiga, the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) and the Committee of Competition decided to postpone it, establishing on 18 December​ like new date.

The aim of this postponement was to avoid new incidents in a moment especially delicate for the Catalan society, so much by the riots as by the courts in the main roads that hampered the mobility. Nevertheless, the dispute of the party has not happened unobserved for Tsunami Democràtic, that has issued a communiqué asking the implication of Barça and Madrid.

In the text, asks to both clubs that allow to exhibit banners "perfectly visible in the terracings and in the field with the sentence 'Spain, sit and talk' (Spain, seat you and has a conversation)", appealing to the "moment of enormous excepcionalidad for our country. The State pursues to a majority part of the Catalan population and denies by all the means the defence of a political project: the self-determination".

Tsunami Democràtic Also exposes the limitation of freedoms in Spain and the violence to ask manifest: "This persecution takes a lot of forms: from political prisoners to decrees law that suppress fundamental rights and the separation of powers, until, obviously, police violence".

The text remembered that Tsunami Democràtic frames in the no violence and regretted that it accuse them of the contrary. "The state also ignores reports of organisations by the human rights like International Amnesty or the Group of Work of arbitrary arrests of lla UN. And in case it was little it pursues campaigns like Tsunami, framed always in the no violence, accusing them of terrorism", prayed the note.

In conclusion, Tsunami asked the implication of the world of the sport and, in this case, of the two bigger clubs of LaLiga: "we Live a situation of political abnormality and 'Tsunami Democràtic' bet for doing it evident during the Classical. The sport and two clubs of this magnitude can not ignore the problematic social that affect to the society to which belong. The request is simple: implication of the world of the sport in the resolution of the conflict".

Finally, Tsunami remarked that it will respect the event but demanded visibility. "It respects the free development of a football match that a lot of people expects and, at the same time, does visible the situation of excepcionalidad that live, demanding the dialogue to finish with the situation of exclusion and political segregation that suffers a majority part of the Catalan population", sentenced.
