FC Barcelona still does not understand the action prior to Osasuna's second goal. This season, two fouls similar to the one suffered by Pau Víctor were sanctioned

FC Barcelona was once again harmed by the Spanish refereeing during the match against Osasuna (4-2). In addition to a clear penalty in stoppage time on Lamine Yamal, the culés conceded a goal preceded by an unsanctioned foul on Pau Víctor that revealed, once again, the referee's double standard in LaLiga for sanctioning and reviewing certain plays.

Around the 28th minute, Lucas Torró involuntarily, but clearly, stepped on Pau Víctor in the center of the field. The action led to a great goal scored by Bryan Zaragoza, who made it 2-0 thanks to a remarkable finish against Iñaki Peña. However, the Barça players complained about Torró's foul, without the VAR manager, Pizarro Gómez, warning Cuadra Fernández of the infraction. The main one validated the goal, unleashing Barça indignation, especially from Pedri González.

And the Tenerife native immediately remembered how, due to an almost identical action, a goal was disallowed in Vallecas against Rayo on matchday 3. The '8' scored the partial 1-2 in the 76th minute, so much so that the main César Soto Grado had considered it valid. However, the person in charge of the VAR, Figueroa Vázquez, warned of a stomp by Jules Koundé on Chavarría that was almost identical to the one suffered by Pau Víctor in Pamplona. Pedri's goal was disallowed, but luckily for Barça there was revenge in the 82nd minute thanks to Dani Olmo.

Real Madrid also benefited from a similar foul in Anoeta

The referee's double standard against Barça is also evident with a similar play in favor of Real Madrid. On matchday 5, the 'merengues' won a penalty for a stomp by Jon Aramburu in the area on Vinicius Jr. Martínez Munuera did not see the action, but Hernández Hernández, from the VAR, called him to sanction the foul with the that Carlo Ancelotti's team settled the duel in Anoeta against Real Sociedad (0-2).

Last season, the same referee duo had overlooked an almost identical foul by Mario Hermoso on Joao Félix in Montjuïc, a match that the culés won thanks to a goal scored by the Portuguese (1-0). The Spanish central defender arrived late to the dispute for a ball inside the area without Martínez Munuera or the linesman seeing anything. From the VAR, Hernández Hernández did not sanction the foul either, considering it a 'residual' play.
