Vitor Roque could make his debut as a starter for Real Betis this Sunday against Real Madrid. 'Tigrinho' was included in Manuel Pellegrini's squad for the visit to the Santiago Bernabéu and will get his first minutes in the 24/25

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Real Betis will visit Real Madrid this Sunday (21:30 CEST) in a match that will be more than interesting for FC Barcelona. In addition to the possibility of going into the first break of the season with a significant advantage, the Catalans will be very attentive to the possible debut of Vitor Roque, who is aiming to start in his first call-up with the 'verdiblanco' team after a difficult summer in Catalonia.

Manuel Pellegrini himself admitted that, since his arrival, he will give the Brazilian all his confidence. "He will be an important player for us," said the Chilean about Timóteo. 'Tigrinho' scored a pair of goals in 16 games (353 minutes) during his first semester in Spain with Barça. Although he failed to earn a place in Hansi Flick's plans (Pau Victor won the one-on-one duel with him in the pre-season with the Blaugrana), the 18-year-old striker is confident that he can show his talent in Seville with a Betis team that has secured his loan for one year with the option of an additional one.

In principle, the arrival of Roque is an important addition for a Betis team that has only 2 points out of 6 possible at the start of the league (they postponed the matchday 3 match against Getafe). The 'Verdiblancos' have also only scored one goal in the tournament (Marc Bartra's goal in the 1-1 draw against Girona). Therefore, against Madrid, the Brazilian has a good chance of entering the line-up.

Vitor Roque will play his first official match against Real Madrid

For 'Tigrinho', the visit to the Santiago Bernabéu will also be his first official match against the 'Casa Blanca', as in his first and only Clásico as a Barça player he was left on the bench in the 3-2 defeat on 21 April. The striker did get some minutes against Madrid in the match in New Jersey on 3 August, but it was a friendly. He played 13 minutes there, coming on for Lewandowski in the 77th minute. That day (3 August), Pau Víctor's double ended up sealing his departure from Barça, so Vitor will have plenty of reasons to seek revenge this Sunday in Chamartín.Ícono de validado por la comunidad
