The fate of the RFEF has been resolved, at least for the next 4 or 5 months. Pedro Rocha has been officially announced as president of the body, something that will also allow him to call new elections

Calendar of FC Barcelona

With official communiqué of by half, Pedro Rocha has been announced like the new president of the Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF). Like this it explains it the resolution of the Electoral Commission, something that already was foreseen in the electoral calendar, signalling that "the Friday 12 April, this Electoral Board agreed to proclaim as only presidential candidate of the RFEF to D. Pedro Ángel Rocha Junco", aims the communiqué.

The resolution has adopted after the Monday the Commission desestimara the resource of Miguel Galán against the members of the Assembly that would have lost this condition. After this formality, in which Rocha was the only precandidato that attained to gather the necessary guarantees to be proclaimed candidate, the already president has to constitute a Managerial Board and summon elections to all the federative organs, beginning by the General Assembly.

Some points for defining inside the RFEF

In principle, Rocha would not present to these new comicios, that will celebrate in any case after the celebration of the Olympic games of this summer in Paris, and have to the next 10 September like date more likely. It is necessary to remember equally that the now yes president of the RFEF did charge of interim form of it it RFEF after the FIFA suspended of temporary form to the previous president, Luis Rubiales.

The FIFA and the UEFA will follow the situation very closely

It is worthwhile to limit also that to all this announcement will follow him a letter of the FIFA and of the UEFA to the secretary of State for the Sport, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, so that it do not interfere in the process and respect the autonomy of the Federation. The misiva, that already is prepared and signed by the presidents of both organisms, Infantino and Ceferin, as it has explained 'ACE', warns of the consequences that would have for the Spanish football a governmental intervention.

The CSD has announced for the Tuesday a new meeting of his Managerial Commission in which no descarta a suspension of Pedro Rocha after the open file by the Court of the Sport (TAD), but seems that there will be margin for this. The UEFA and the FIFA do not want political interferences on the federations, as it has been along the history and understand that an external commission for "tutelar" the operation of the Federation would be precisely this.
