Finally, the Appeals Committee did not accept FC Barcelona's argument about Ousmane Dembelé for his "lack of expertise to speak Spanish"

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The Committee of Appeal has refused the resource interposed by the FC Barcelona in relation to the red cardboard that saw Ousmane Dembélé in the party that the team of Ernesto Valverde played against the Seville in the Camp Nou. Mateu Lahoz, referee of said meeting, drafted in the record that the French said him "are very bad", what supposed him a sanction of two parties.

In his resource, the FC Barcelona argued the difficulties of the own Dembélé to speak Spanish and ensured that the words of the Frenchman were not "very bad, very bad", but "very bad, very bad". Like proof, the Catalan club contributed a video with the exact sequence of the moment in which the Barcelona forward attends to the protest beside other players culés.

In his text, the Catalan entity ensures that "the FC Barcelona considers that the player expelled did not pronounce the VERY BAD "words, VERY BAD" but "VERY BAD, VERY BAD", adding that "this error of assessment by part of the referee, could come die by the fault of expertise of the own player in the utilisation of the Spanish, in addition to existing a big distance between the referee and this, doing that it can have understood or listened of erroneous form the words object of sanction".

In reply, Appeal remarked that in the images does not appreciate this error of assessment of Mateu Lahoz, since it can not see what the player said. "It can not appreciate, of the proof videográfica contributed, the existence of said error put that, in any moment of the viewing observes the behaviour of the player expelled described in the referee's record; so only it appears in the images the referee in presence of until 6 players of the FC Barcelona manifesting, purportedly, his disconformidad with the expulsion of the player Dembele for later see how said player goes walking to go out of the terrain of game", initiated the reslución.

The Committee, finally, denied that the proofs contributed by the Barça subtracted validity to the described in the referee's record: "In consequence, the proof videográfica contributed leaves to have validity like apt evidential instrument for desvirtuar, in his case, the content of the referee's record not being possible, then , neither value neither declare the existence of a self-evident material error, as the had in the article 27.3 of the Disciplinary Code of the RFEF".

To finish, Appeal confirmed the negative resolution and the possibility that the Barça resort to the Administrative Court of the Sport like last resource: "In attention to the exposed, the Committee of Appeal of Real Spanish Federation of Football. It AGREES: Desestimar the resource formulated by the FC BARCELONA, confirming the agreement impugned that it contains in the resolution of the Committee of Competition of the RFEF of date 9 October 2019. Against the present resolution fits to interpose resource in front of the Administrative Court of the Sport in the term of fifteen skillful days, to explain from the following to the that receive the notification".

Dembélé Will not lose the Classical

Everything aims to that Dembélé will have to fulfil his two parties of sanction, although one of them will not be the Classical, as it seemed in a principle. The postponement to December of the hurt suspender belt between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will give a new opportunity to the French player that, except a new injury or a new sanction, will be available for Valverde in the crucial party in front of the whites.
