The hometown of Lionel Messi has decided to honour him with an enormous mural very near of the school where studied in his infancy. The Municipalidad of Rosario also has sent a special message to the Argentinian star

In the middle of the dispute of the Glass America and waiting for a final decision on his contractual situation with the FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi has been honoured in his neighbourhood in Argentina with an enormous mural with his face and the registration: "Of another galaxy and of my neighbourhood".

The work is situated in a building of the neighbourhood The Descent, in the vicinities of the school where studied the today captain of the FC Barcelona. In the mural observes the figure of Messi with two booties that hang in his neck: one black, that symbolises his infancy and one gilded in allusion to his Balloons of Gold.

In the inferior part, appreciates the figure of Lionel Messi being still a boy in distinct tones of blue, in allusion to this spirit that still keeps in his characteristic game that has given joys to so many million fans in the world, especially in Barcelona and in his natal country.

 

Messi, honoured by his city

Through his social networks, the Municipalidad of Rosario has left a message to the Argentinian star concerning the mural: "Rosario, your city, the one who you banking until in the day in that you remained free of the Barça. Today! In the intersections of the streets Azara and Buenos Aires, the muralistas of Group Seism of Sea of the Silver and Imagines of Monk gave the final brushstroke to the mural in homage to Leo Messi".

Nevertheless, some have stood out like curiosity the fact that the player do not appear with any of the T-shirts that has dressed along his career like footballer, already was the one of the FC Barcelona, Newell's Old Boys or the Argentinian selection. In front of this, the artífices of the work answered "Wanted to paint to a Messi that belongs to all, a Messi of the people".
