Matheus Fernandes analyzes his delicate situation and his future at Barça

Matheus Fernandes Spoke with 'Sportive World' in an extensive interview in which it analysed his situation in the FC Barcelona. The Brazilian has played only 17 minutes this campaign to the orders of Ronald Koeman​ that has 'happened' during all the course of him. The defensive midfield player spoke on this and ensured that it does not understand the reason by which has not had more opportunities along the year.

"I do me this question. Why? I do not know it. At the beginning it began to play a bit more. The trainer said me that it would not have a lot of opportunities, but some himself. Only I have played 17 minutes and do not understand why, as it had split that it could have played quietly, as it has occurred with other players. I do not know what happens in the head of the trainer, I think that we could have spoken more between us, the trainer and I, but did not speak a lot and neither know why has not put me to play", affirmed.

The ex of the Palmeiras explained how were his starts with Koeman, that did not speak with him to say him that it did not go to play. "Before beginning the trainings, already said them to the directors that did not explain with me, that could go out. And I asked me: 'How it says this if it does not know me, neither personally, neither like player', I think that first it is necessary to look. Many times we think something and when it begins the season is another thing. It said it to him to the directors, but did not speak with me and had liked me know what thought for me know which project of career could look for", aimed.

To the thread of these beginnings with the Dutch, related how was his first conversation. "A day was to speak with him and said me that it did not explain with me, that could go out if it found a good club for me, but that went to play. I did not find any team because I am very young and finish to arrive. Then I said him that it gave me some minutes to be able to find a team in which play the next season, but did not give me minutes. It was very rare", declared.

His only opportunity was against the Dinamo of Kiev in Champions, an irrelevant crash for the Barcelona, that already was classified. After this duel, the Brazilian did not go back to play and explained last it that it was Koeman when it asked him explanations. "A month or something more after that party, without playing more, went a day to his dispatch and said him: 'Míster why do not have more opportunities. I played badly?'. And it said me: "No, you have played well, but I can not put you because no tale with you, do not have quality to play in the Barça'. And I said him that if it does not put me, can not me see if I do not have quality and if the directors me ficharon, went by my quality. It has to have something more", signalled.

Besides, it remembered the moment in which the club decided to not to present him, something that comprises by the situation, but that was not pleasant. "I can understand to the club because it went through a moment delicate by the pandemia, afterwards just the day that went to announce my presentation, arrived the burofax of Leo saying that it wanted to go out, afterwards there was not president... It was a moment very delicate. It is not a good thing, but can happen, although I expect that in the next years do not go back to give this situation. On his future, the mediocentro ensured that for the moment it does not know at all of the plans of the Barcelona with him. "I am expecting that the club say me something, that say me if account or no with me to be able to look for something. "For me, the best option is to remain me here, but I do not know how thinks the club. If I have to go out to have minutes, will do it. I go to train during the holidays, but do not know it, can arrive another trainer and that say me: 'you have not played at all during a season and have to go out to have minutes because neither I know you'", concluded.
