OFFICIAL: Ansu Fati will be operated on his knee this Monday

This Monday, the FC Barcelona informed that Ansu Fati has a break of the internal​ meniscus of the left knee that did during the party that the group of Ronald Koeman played against the Real Betis. "The player of the first team Ansu Fati will be taken part quirúrgicamente tomorrow Monday of the injury in the meniscus in the left knee to charge of the doctor Ramon Cugat under the supervision of the medical services of the Club. Once finalised this intervention will facilitate a new communiqué with information of the result and of the time of drop approximated", prayed the official communiqué.

The press release adds that "Ansu Fati contested the first-half in the Barça-Betis, in which it showed very active" and that "this course, the Barcelona leading youngster accumulates 10 parties, 7 in the League and 3 in the League of Champions. In total Ansu has contested 596 minutes this season, in which it has achieved to mark five goals and deliver two assistances".

The time of drop, the big incógnita

The FC Barcelona has mentioned in his communiqué that will not give definite details on the time of drop of Ansu Fati until this same Monday and has not informed on if him suturará the meniscus or will extract him definitively. In case that him suture, the canterano Barcelona could be of three to four months of drop, something that would do him lose big part of the season.

Some specialists consider, however, that in spite of the time of drop the best option for Ansu Fati is to save him the meniscus because of his age. With 18 recently fulfilled years, the Hispanic-bissauguineano has a long career by in front, by what estraerle definitively the meniscus could not being the best option of face to a future on a long-term basis.
