The young generation of talents at FC Barcelona

The past month of August, the FC Barcelona fit eight goals of the Bayern of Munich in a duel in which the Barcelona group beat a record when presenting the alignment with a greater average of age of the history of the Champions League: 29 years and 329 days. Players very veteran in the eleven Barcelona type gave samples of a project stagnated and without future whose dynamic had to invest.

The previous managerial, of the hand of a recently arrived Ronald Koeman, took drastic decisions to give exit to veteran players like Luis Suárez, Arturo Vidal or Ivan Rakitic, betting in his place by young players in signings like the ones of Pedri, Francisco Trincao or Sergiño Dest. Hardly two months and half afterwards, the new sportive project begins to ilusionar of the hand of these youngsters cracks.

All they are beginning to stand out of important way, beginning by the big jewel of the quarry: Ansu Fati. With 18 recently fulfilled years, the Hispanic-bissauguineano is the maximum goleador of the FC Barcelona with five so many and has turned into the player considered natural heir of Leo Messi. A player that began to stand out the past season and that has consecrated in the present.

Neither we have to forget us of Pedri González, a player that seemed that it would have it difficult to play but that has been headline in the two more important parties of the season: in the Camp Nou against the Real Madrid and in the Allianz Stadium against the Juventus. Especially brilliant was the performance of the Canarian against the Italians, leaving destellos of a lot of class in a party in which it did not commit neither an alone failure, shining in the construction and engaging in defence.

By his part, Sergiño Dest also has gone in with strength in the onces of Ronald Koeman, deploying with a big offensive game playing so much of right side like left. Francisco Trincao has left also good feelings, whereas Ousmane Dembélé​ seems to have been totally recovered for the cause, with big performances in the duels of Champions League in front of Ferencváros and Juventus, including a big goal in front of the Italians.

Riqui Puig and Carles Aleñá, without opportunities

Ronald Koeman is not doubting in giving opportunities to the youngsters, although no all run the same luck. Whereas Ansu Fati, Pedri, Sergiño Dest, Francisco Trincao and even Ronald Araújo carry a line of stable leadership, others like Riqui Puig or Carles Aleñá have much less weight in the team. The one of Matadepera only played in front of the Getafe, whereas the one of Mataró not even has debuted.
