Barça has a new star! Pau Víctor, double and MVP in the Classic

Fermín López was the great revelation of FC Barcelona's tour of the United States in 2023 and that earned him the chance to stay in the first team during the season and end up demonstrating the brutal potential and level he has. Now, a year later, another young promise is on track to achieve the same. Pau Víctor, who was the 'Pichichi' of Barça Atlètic last year, has become a footballer for all purposes of the Barça team this summer, after the agreement between the Barcelona fans and Girona.

The feeling is that the Catalans were keeping the forward to loan him to another team or to do business with him in the future. However, the attacker has made a huge difference to his situation and his career on this US tour. Against Manchester City he scored a good goal and was the best along with Pablo Torre, who scored another goal. In that meeting he gave the first warning that he was not in the United States on vacation and a few days later, against Real Madrid, he showed that he could be one of the big surprises of this upcoming campaign.

In the Classic, Pau was the big star and the player who unbalanced the match with two goals, both of which Barcelona scored in the duel. The Barça '8' in this preseason once again moved with great intelligence on the field and particularly within the area and thus scored the first of his goals after a semi-miss shot by Lewandowski, which left the target on a plate for his teammate.

Pau Víctor is a wonderful discovery for those who have not followed the reserves regularly and has shown that he deserves an opportunity at Barça this season. Lewandowski is old and in this preseason he is not at all fine and Vitor Roque is not giving the level at the moment, so taking advantage of the great moment of the young Catalan attacker is something obligatory for Hansi Flick.
