For the third consecutive year, FC Barcelona once again faces Real Madrid in the United States as part of its preseason tour. The headquarters of the Classic will be the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where the culés seek to maintain their dominance on North American soil against the 'merengues' after victories in 2017 (3-2), 2022 (1-0) and 2023 (3- 0), the latter achieved in Las Vegas almost exactly a year ago.

Hansi Flick no longer has Oriol Romeu among those available for the match, after the man from Ulldecona returned to Catalonia to close his return to Girona. The injured ones (Frenkie, Pedri, Araújo, Gavi) are also not available, in addition to those summoned by Spain for the Olympic Games (Eric García, Cubarsí and Fermín). Of the internationals, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal have yet to return, who will return to work after the tour. For their part, Christensen, Ter Stegen Raphinha and Gündogan will be ready to play, in addition to Mika Faye.

For the Barça kids, this is a new golden opportunity to show off, after a very good first performance last Tuesday against Manchester City. The coaching staff will once again have all the youth players, in addition to the discards like Clément Lenglet, who surprisingly left a good feeling against the 'sky blue' team. For Madrid there are also several important casualties led by Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr., who are still on vacation.
