Real Madrid has issued a medical report in which it has announced the injury of one of its outstanding forwards: Vinicius Jr., who will be out for approximately three weeks

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Unfortunate news continues for Real Madrid. Despite the weekend being quite peaceful for the Madridistas, as far as their commitment in LaLiga EA Sports is concerned, where they secured a 0-3 victory against Leganés at Butarque without much trouble, additionally, FC Barcelona only managed a draw against Celta de Vigo at Balaídos (2-2), allowing them to close the gap with the Blaugrana, having played one match less. Now, they have had to resort to their various social media platforms to announce that one of their key players has suffered an injury.

Real Madrid has released a medical report confirming that the 24-year-old Brazilian forward, Vinicius Jr., after undergoing medical tests, has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his left leg, which is pending further evaluation. This setback comes as quite a surprise, as he completed the full 90 minutes in the match against the 'pepinero' team and did not show any significant physical discomfort.

Now, although Real Madrid has not specified the duration of Vinicius Jr.'s absence, according to various sources, the expectation, given the nature of the '7's injury, is that he will be out for at least three weeks. This means that he may miss at least six matches, including the two UEFA Champions League fixtures against Liverpool at Anfield (27/11) and Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium (10/12), as well as the LaLiga EA Sports clash at home against Getafe CF (01/12) and the away games against Athletic Club at San Mamés (04/12), Girona at Montilivi (07/12) and Rayo Vallecano at the Vallecas Stadium (14/12), respectively.

Vinicius Jr. Speaks Out After His Injury Becomes Official

With that in mind, it is expected that Vinicius Jr. will be ready for the Club World Cup final against an as yet undetermined opponent, scheduled for December 18. Furthermore, with this injury, Real Madrid currently has seven players in their infirmary: Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, Éder Militão, Lucas Vázquez, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Rodrygo, and of course, 'Vini'.

Moreover, the São Gonçalo native has used his social media platforms to share the medical report announcing his injury and to send a message in which he criticizes the tight schedule faced by players, making it clear that he is ready to undergo his recovery process, stating: "!The crazy schedule... Time to recover!" Vinicius Jr. is another of the many players who complain about the hectic schedule they have to endure; do they have a point in doing so? It seems they do, doesn't it?
