Suspended! Real Madrid faces multi-million euro losses
Complaints from neighbours have led to the suspension of the concerts that were to be held at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
Real Madrid have been forced to cancel upcoming concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu following complaints from residents. After months of complaints, last July they managed to get the courts to accept a complaint for an environmental crime due to noise.
From that moment on, Real Madrid announced that they would carry out actions at the stadium to reduce the noise as much as possible. However, they have finally decided to temporarily cancel all the planned events. This suspension is a very hard blow to the club's economy, which had turned renting the stadium for concerts into a very important source of income.
According to various media, Real Madrid has decided to cancel the concerts scheduled until March 2025. In principle, the events affected are the K-pop (Korean pop) Music Bank festival and the concerts of Lola Índigo and Aitana.
