Josep Pedrerol, host of 'El Chiringuito', confessed on 'El Hormiguero' about the consequences of criticizing Florentino Pérez on his show

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Josep Pedrerol was invited to 'El Hormiguero', a famous television program hosted by Pablo Motos, and made several statements that will not go unnoticed. The host of 'El Chiringuito',  the most toxic media outlet that generates the most hatred against the FC Barcelona of the entire cave, was asked about his relationship with the players and executives of the major clubs in Spain, and the journalist held nothing back.

"I get along well with Laporta, I get along well with Cerezo (president of Atlético de Madrid), I consider Florentino to be my friend. But we each understand our role", Josep began, confessing to be "a Barça fan, but I am not a Barça sycophant, so if Barça does something wrong, I say it. And I am a culé who, if Real Madrid plays the Champions final against a team that is not Spanish, I will support Real Madrid".

The consequences of criticizing Florentino Pérez on 'El Chiringuito'

Later, Pablo Motos questioned him about the consequences of criticizing Florentino Pérez on his show, to which Pedrerol responded emphatically that "he won't talk to me for a month". Likewise, he pointed out that he has no privileges due to his relationship with Pérez, as he "talks to everyone, he doesn't give me any news. I get along with him. If he hears something on the show that he doesn't like, he gets angry".

However, Josep revealed that his bond with the president of Real Madrid is not as close as speculated. "I don't talk to Florentino every day. I've never eaten at his house. It seems like he writes the scripts for 'El Chiringuito'. Criticism is accepted relatively, but he is a good sport. He sometimes goes too far, nothing more", concluded the host of 'El Chiringuito'.

In this way, Pedrerol hints at the pressures, more or less severe, that the media from the cave receive from Florentino to manipulate the narrative to his advantage, and he agrees with Gerard Piqué, who stated at the time that "the strings of the country are pulled in the Madrid box".
