VINI JR 'FALLEN' FROM THE DERBI XI
Vinicius Jr sets off the alarms at Real Madrid!
The alarms are on at Real Madrid after Vinicius Jr left injured in the warm-up prior to the derby against Atlético de Madrid. The Brazilian was going to be a starter
Problems at Real Madrid. Already in the run-up to Atlético de Madrid's visit, concern reigned over the loss of Antonio Rüdiger who suffered an accident to his left leg in the midweek clash against Getafe, but the bad news was confirmed with the absence of the German central defender in the XI (and bench), in addition to the 'surprise' of Vinicius Jr moments before the start of the match.
The Brazilian attacker left the warm-up before the rest of his teammates due to some discomfort and Joselu began to warm up with more intensity. The rumors about the possibility of the player on loan from RCD Espanyol starting increased, but Real Madrid showed calm - at least for a few moments - regarding Vini Jr's physical condition.
However, the 23-year-old attacker could not start the game. The club let it be known that the footballer was not fit to leave and, according to information from 'The Athletic', he has cervical problems. The player stayed on the bench waiting for the medication to work in time. Brahim Díaz was in charge of replacing him in the XI, with hardly any time to warm up.
