Raphinha would be in Al-Hilal's sights, who are preparing an enormous salary offer, accompanied by a millionaire transfer proposal that could make FC Barcelona think twice
The interest of Saudi football in Raphinha is increasingly firm and is now accompanied by an economic offensive that confirms its seriousness. As recently reported in FCBN, several Middle Eastern clubs had contacted FC Barcelona to explore the option of signing some of their most important players. However, no concrete figures had been revealed... Until now!
According to the Saudi media '365Scores', Al-Hilal would be preparing a strong offer to incorporate the Brazilian winger in the next summer market. In fact, they would have already sent emissaries to Barcelona to learn firsthand about the situation of the '11', who currently has 30 goals and 23 assists in 49 matches this season, signing stellar numbers, even with hints of Ballon d'Or.
Al-Hilal wants to tempt Raphinha with a multi-million dollar contract
According to the aforementioned source, Al-Hilal would be willing to offer Raphinha a four-year contract, until 2029, with an economic proposal that would reach 200 million dollars (approximately 175 million euros). This would be equivalent to 50 'kilos' per season (about 43 M€ per year), numbers that clearly seek to change the will of the native of Porto Alegre, who in the past had already rejected important offers from Arab football, including from Neymar Jr.'s former team.
In addition to the contract for 'Rapha', the 'Al-Za'eem' would have already initiated formal contacts with Barcelona, presenting an initial transfer offer that would be around 100 M€. A dizzying amount that puts a dilemma on the table for the Blaugrana board.
And it is that Raphinha has not only been one of the most important players of the Catalan team in this 2024-25 season, but has been key in the tactical structure under the direction of Hansi Flick. The German coach was, precisely, the one who convinced the left winger to stay at the Barcelona club, stopping an exit that seemed imminent a few months ago. In turn, the club would be working on the renewal of his contract, which makes any negotiation of departure even more delicate.
Give up the highest level at 28 years old?
Beyond the economic aspect, the big question arises: is Raphinha willing to leave elite football at 28 years old? The left-footed player is experiencing one of his best professional moments, having established himself as a benchmark in Barcelona, within an ambitious and competitive sports project.
Although Al-Hilal gives the feeling of being determined to break the market, the scenario is not simple. Despite the attractiveness of the offer, it cannot be ruled out that Raphinha decides to continue betting on his career in Europe and on his leading role in the culé team. In any case, next summer promises to be full of movement around the future of the Brazilian winger.
