New suitor has played at the door of FC Barcelona to ask for Ansu Fati. This is one of the most history of Europe and has a good connection with Barça
The position of FC Barcelona regarding the future of Ansu Fati at the club seems to be quite clear. The 22-year-old academy product, unless there is a radical change in events, gives the impression of being destined for ostracism in the Blaugrana's sporting project, as he does not have many opportunities to accumulate minutes in a squad where the offensive trio comprised of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha are 'on fire', and where Ferran Torres (and even Pau Víctor) have become recurring game-changers for a team that, to make matters worse for the Bissau player, apparently is looking to sign a loaned striker for this winter transfer window: Marcus Rashford.
With this scenario in mind, the departure of Ansu Fati, who in this season has accumulated 186 minutes of action in eight matches, with his most recent appearance being the 28 minutes he played against UD Barbastro in the Copa del Rey on January 4th, does not seem so far-fetched. Even though the position of the '10' Blaugrana player may be to want to stay at the club to fight for a place in the sporting project, several teams have inquired with Barcelona about the option of acquiring the services of the forward, who still holds a certain international reputation.
Ajax Amsterdam has reportedly inquired about the loan of Ansu Fati
Beyond the evident interest from Turkish football in Ansu Fati, a recent report has linked a new club in the 'race' for the former Brighton player. As reported by the Dutch newspaper 'De Telegraaf', Ajax has inquired about the possibility of obtaining the loan of the '10' Blaugrana player until the end of the 2024-25 season.
The mentioned source maintains that the Amsterdam-based team is urgently seeking an offensive reinforcement in the market that can operate on the flanks, especially on the left, and Ansu has been identified as a top choice. While there are other alternatives that also interest the Dutch club, such as the left-winger from Wolverhampton, Carlos Forbs, who is also highly valued by Ajax's coach, Francesco Farioli.
At this point, it remains to be seen whether now that a historic European club like Ajax, with strong ties to FC Barcelona, has offered him an opportunity, Ansu Fati decides to accept it, in an environment where he could have continuity in his game. Additionally, it would be a feasible addition for the Dutch side, as Barça apparently will facilitate the operation.
Furthermore, this signing would represent a significant market coup for Ajax, as the club currently relies on the 19-year-old Mika Godts as their main left-winger, who has scored seven goals. However, the Dutch team aims to strengthen that position with a player with more international experience, who can also operate as a forward in other positions in the attacking line.
