The Arab league does not relent in its desire to add as many European 'cracks' as possible. Once again, Saudi millions seek to tempt Robert Lewandowski
FC Barcelona could receive a new offer from the Arab league for one of its stars. Recent reports indicate the interest of a Saudi club in Robert Lewandowski, who has a contract in effect until 2026 and earns the highest salary on the azulgrana squad. The Pole has no intentions of considering offers in the short term, while the club's stance is also conservative despite the need to raise funds in winter.
For Barça, parting with 'Lewy' at this moment is impossible, as the club does not have another '9' capable of covering the scoring quota of the experienced player. Ferran Torres has responded well as a substitute in recent weeks, but he is not in a position to be the starting center forward of the team. The other alternative for the position (Pau Víctor) also lacks the necessary experience to take on such responsibility.
Lewandowski already rejected a 100 'million' offer this year
At the beginning of 2024, various media leaked an offer of 100 million euros net per season from an Arab giant for Lewandowski that the Pole immediately rejected. The Warsaw native has reiterated on several occasions how comfortable he feels living in Barcelona and, after his great start to the season with Hansi Flick's team (23 goals and 2 assists in 22 matches), his stay in the azulgrana team until 2026 seems assured.
Robert signed in 2022 for three more years plus one optional year that he will fulfill without problems, as he must play at least 55% of the club's official matches this season. The Pole earns a salary of 32 'million' net that will drop to 26M€ in the 2025/26 season, the same amount he earned in his first campaign with the culés. Although in Arabia he could easily triple his current earnings, the 36-year-old forward is convinced of staying in the European elite for at least a couple more seasons.
