Arsenal 'passes' from one of Barça's possible discards in the winter market

FC Barcelona continues to look for a way out for several of its 'discards' in January. One of those who could leave is Ferran Torres, although one of the 'greats' of the Premier would have already rejected him
The FC Barcelona board could have already decided to include several of its players on the 'discard' list for the next transfer market. The club continues to exceed its salary margin and one of the alternatives to make money is Ferran Torres. However, the options of cashing in on Foiós in January may be significantly reduced in the coming weeks.
According to the latest information, the Barça team offered the 'Tiburón' to the London team in August, but the 'Gunners' ruled out even a simple loan. Looking ahead to the winter market, the 'Gunner' position will not change much either, since the weak start of the '7' culé, added to the time out as a result of the injury suffered last Sunday in Vitoria, leave him with few options to go to another 'top' club January.
A cession, the most feasible way for Ferran Torres to leave in January
Ferran will be out for around a month and a half and, although he has been important for Hansi Flick, the returns of other key pieces for the German coach (Dani Olmo, Gavi, Fermín) will reduce his options of fighting for a place in the XI when he receives medical discharge. The one from Foiós has a contract until 2027 and Barça would be willing to negotiate his transfer for around 20 million euros.
However, if he finds himself ruled out for the second half of the season, Torres will have to consider the possibility of leaving on loan for six months, perhaps to another LaLiga club. The Valencian is a fixture in Luis de La Fuente's squad, but a significant reduction in minutes could leave him off the National Team's radar ahead of the final four of the UEFA Nations League and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
In any case, Ferran will have enough time to evaluate his options, based on his intention to stay in Barcelona, a position that the '7' has firmly maintained until now. Outside of Spain, the 24-year-old striker has been suggested as a possible reinforcement for Juventus and Newcastle, with the Magpies being the most interested club.
