Barça expects a winter transfer market with few movements. The priority for the Catalans is the registrations of Olmo and Pau Víctor
The final stretch of 2024 is proving to be very complicated for FC Barcelona. Despite their good performance in the Champions League, the Catalan team is going through a crisis of results in LaLiga and hopes to close the year with a key victory against Atlético de Madrid next Saturday, December 21.
After the match against the colchonero team, the blaugranas will take a few days off before returning to work to face a demanding January, with four competitions at stake. Meanwhile, the transfer market will open, although the sports management is clear that the winter window will be very quiet at Can Barça.
According to 'SPORT', the priority for the azulgranas is to finalize the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, a task that the club assures is on track. Regarding incoming and outgoing players, the Catalans do not plan to carry out any operations, although if sufficient salary margin is achieved, the incorporation of a full-back or a forward cannot be ruled out.
Departures, the hot topic for Barça
Similarly, as of today Hansi Flick does not foresee any departures. The German would not want to lose any player, although names like Eric García, Pablo Torre, or Ansu Fati could be on the way out if an attractive offer for their services is received.
In this way, Barça prepares to face a January with little movement in the offices of Spotify Camp Nou, although on the playing fields the situation will be very different, as the culés will compete in La Liga, Champions, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España, with the latter being the potential first title of the 'Flick era'.
