Rodri Hernández doesn't see himself leaving Manchester City just yet

Despite this, Rodri Hernández has stated that for now, he doesn't see himself leaving Manchester City, mentioning that "it could be a possibility to end my career in England, I feel very loved". However, he has left open the possibility of returning to Spain, where he has already had experiences with both Atlético de Madrid and Villarreal CF: "Spain is my country, the teams are growing more and more. In the end, they are the best leagues."
