Barça and Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Murillo as a possible reinforcement for their defence. Nottingham Forest have valued his transfer at 90 million euros

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid plan to strengthen their central defences during the summer. Eder Militao's long-term injury has forced the Merengues to speed up the signing of a reliable defender, while the Catalans are analysing their options in the market to give the definitive leap in quality to a rearguard that has increased its reliability under the orders of Hansi Flick.

As is becoming customary, the Catalans and the Merengues share objectives in their search for the ideal centre-back, and in addition to Jonathan Tah, whose name is one of the favourites at the Spotify Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabéu, both clubs have set their sights on Murillo, a revelation centre-back in the Premier League who defends the Nottingham Forest shield.

At 22 years old, the Brazilian has established himself as one of the most promising defenders today. For this reason, the 'tricky trees', aware of the 'jewel' they have in their ranks, have valued his possible transfer at a figure of around 90 million euros, as reported by the 'Daily Mirror'.

An amount that far exceeds the claims of the whites, who were willing to pay around 45 'millions' for his signing in January, and of the culés, who could bet on the incorporation of a Tah who would land in Barcelona with a free transfer under his arm once his contract with Bayer Leverkusen expires in June 2025.
