Barcelona Boosts Market Value of Its Squad: 1 Billion and Counting

The great moment of FC Barcelona has directly impacted the market value of the squad. In the 2024/25 season, the Blaugrana team already exceeds 1 billion euros in value
FC Barcelona has significantly increased the value of its squad during the 2024/25 season. Compared to the previous season, the team is worth 108.7 million more, with an increase of 10.71% compared to the 905.3 'million' it was worth in July of last year. The great collective performance since the arrival of Hansi Flick has been key for players like Raphinha, Pau Cubarsí, and Lamine Yamal to boost their value.
In total, the market value of the Barça squad, according to Transfermarkt, is 1,014,500,000 euros. The most expensive player in the squad is Lamine, valued at 180M €, followed by Pedri González (100M €). Raphinha and Gavi complete the podium, with a valuation of 80M €. The 17-year-old winger has seen the most increase in value this season, as at the end of the 23/24 season he was worth 60 'million'.
Similarly, Cubarsí increased his value by 45M €, going from 25 million in June 2024 to 70M € at the end of the year. The TOP 3 of market increases is completed by Rafa, who went from being worth 50M € last season to 80M € in January 2025. So far, line by line, the Blaugrana midfield holds the largest percentage of the squad's market value (37.22 %).
The value of FC Barcelona's squad, line by line
In goal, Barça has accumulated 26 million euros in its squad. Ter Stegen (15M €) remains the most expensive of the culé goalkeepers, despite his serious injury. He is followed by Iñaki Peña (10M €), while Wojciech Szczesny is worth barely 1M €. In defense, after Cubarsí, Jules Koundé appears as the second most expensive defender of the team, with a value of 60M €. He is followed by Ronald Araujo (55M €) and Alejandro Balde (50M €).
Further back are Andreas Christensen (20M €), Eric García (18M €), Héctor Fort (10M €), Iñigo Martínez and Gerard Martín, both valued at 5 'million'. In total, the Blaugrana defense is valued at around 293 million euros. Meanwhile, the midfield is led by Pedri (100M €), followed by Gavi (80M €) and Dani Olmo (60M €). After them are Fermín López (50M €), Frenkie de Jong (45M €), Marc Casadó (30M €), Pablo Torre (7.5M €) and Marc Bernal (5M €) for a total of 377.5 million euros.
Finally, in their attacking trio, Barça has 275 'million' distributed among Lamine (180M €), Raphinha (80M €) and Robert Lewandowski (15M €). The squad is completed by Ferran Torres (28M €), Ansu Fati (10M €) and Pau Víctor (5M €), for a total of 318 million euros. In LaLiga, only Real Madrid (1,230 'million') surpasses the value of the Catalan squad. Manchester City leads the table, with 1,300 'million', while Arsenal also surpasses Barça with a value of 1,115 million.
