Barcelona still has a 'low cost' option for the pivot if Hansi Flick changes his mind

At least that's how he let it be seen in his last meeting with the press, where he established a position on the possibility of incorporating another midfielder after the departure of Oriol Romeu. 

Flick avoids getting 'wet' about signing another midfielder, but does not close the door completely

After the last game of the American tour against Milan (2-2, 3-4p.), the Barça coach avoided getting wet about the need to sign another midfielder. The interest of the Heidelberg player in Joshua Kimmich is well known, but he has not preferred to value what he has at his disposal, which is not little despite the losses.
