Barça is left without Gyökeres! Manchester United wants him now

Manchester United insists on signing Viktor Gyökeres, the scorer from Sporting CP. Initially, Barça expected to strengthen without restrictions after returning to the 1:1 rule, but LaLiga's recent decision to nullify the income corresponding to the sale of the exploitation rights of the VIP boxes at the new Spotify Camp Nou puts the culés back in a dilemma. With no cash on hand and exceeding their salary margin, Barça will continue to have its hands tied to move in the market.

United tightens to leave Barça without options for Gyökeres

In this context, United seeks to deliver the final blow to close the signing of the Sporting '9' as soon as possible. Their initial offer, according to the latest reports from the English press, would be around 60 million euros, to maximize their budget in a summer where they plan a significant reconstruction after a disappointing season (13th in the Premier League with 29 points until February 2025). In fact, the 'red devils' do not rule out including Joshua Zirkzee in the operation to reduce the cost of the signing as much as possible.
