Juventus announced on Thursday the signing of Randal Kolo Muani. The PSG forward, who was also on Barça's radar, arrives in Turin for 6 months, without a purchase option
Randal Kolo Muani will try to regain the course of his sports career at Juventus. The 'bianconeri' officially announced the arrival of the 26-year-old forward, who this season had played only 456 minutes in 14 matches with Paris Saint-Germain (2 goals and 1 assist). The player from Bondy was considered an alternative for FC Barcelona, but ultimately there was no movement from the Barça board regarding the Frenchman.
This decision cleared the way for a Juve that will pay 1 million euros net for the loan for six months, without a mandatory purchase option, in addition to another 2.6 'kilos' in additional expenses. PSG paid 95 million to Eintracht Frankfurt for the forward's transfer in 2023, but he only scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists in 54 matches with Luis Enrique's team. In Germany, however, he scored 26 goals in 50 appearances.

Juventus 'frees' PSG from a problem until June
Although Kolo Muani's loan does not include a purchase option, his departure is undoubtedly a relief for the Parisians. The club paid 70 million to Napoli this month for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and needed to make 'room' for the Georgian. The 'Vecchia Signora', on the other hand, is responding to the request of Thiago Motta, who urgently needed to bring in another '9'. The inconsistency of Dusan Vlahovic and the injury of Arkadiusz Milik forced the Juventus coach to rely on Nico González, Koopmeiners, and Timothy Weah as a 'false '9'.
Meanwhile, in Barcelona, there is absolute calm regarding the second half of the 24-25 season. Once the 'soap opera' regarding the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor was resolved, the club has considered the squad closed, as both the board and the coaching staff believe that, with what they have, it is more than enough to go for the treble. The only movement that could occur before the winter market closes is the departure of Ansu Fati, an operation that is unlikely at this point in the calendar.
