Barça are keeping an eye on Jonathan David. However, Bayern have presented themselves as a tough rival in the 'bidding'
Jonathan David's future continues to heat up. The Canadian striker's contract with Lille ends at the end of the season and his intention is not to sign a new deal with the French and instead head towards a new horizon, which is why several European giants have already knocked on his door to secure his signing.
FC Barcelona have him on their agenda as a 'low-cost' option for the forward line, but as he is one of the 'sweethearts' on the market, the 'bidding' for his signing is set to be very close. Teams such as Inter Milan, Liverpool and Arsenal are presented as the main rivals of the culés in the 'race', but a new club has reportedly joined the list.
Bayern want to reinforce their forward line with David
And according to what was reported in 'Sky Sports Germany', Bayern Munich is very interested in securing David's services for next season. In fact, the Bavarians have already contacted the player's entourage and the club's sporting director, Max Eberl, is reportedly playing the card of Alphonso Davies, a compatriot and personal friend of the goalscorer, to convince him to head to Bavaria.
For the moment, the American remains focused on his present at Lille, where he has scored 13 goals in the 19 games he has played this season. Numbers that have not gone unnoticed at Can Barça, where they are preparing to face a tough competition if they finally decide to go for one of the stars of Ligue 1.
