The CEO of Bayern Munich, Christian Dreesen, recently spoke about the future of Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz, three of the players on FC Barcelona's radar for 2025

The Bayern Munich board is confident about the future of two of its stars. Both Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala still have their renewals unresolved, with the case of the midfielder being the most worrying for the Bavarian team. The one from Rottweill ends his contract in June, while Musiala still has a more guaranteed season.

When speaking about both footballers and Florian Wirtz, Christian Dreesen, CEO of the Munich team, expressed confidence in being able to resolve each operation in accordance with the interests of a Bayern that, historically, has had the base of the German team.

Both Florian and Jamal remain on the radar of FC Barcelona for the next summer market, as does Kimmich who, although he is no longer a priority thanks to the appearances of Marc Bernal and Marc Casadó, is still a very important figure. appealing as it is a player who would reach 'zero cost'.

Bayern hopes to bring together Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz

Likewise, the Bavarian manager made clear his intention to renew Jamal Musiala as soon as possible. The winger's contract ends in 2026 and Barcelona has not ruled out the option of attacking his signing, this position being one of the Barça priorities for the next summer market. "The first conversations have been good and I hope they lead to an extension. We want it to be one of the images of the club," Dreesen explained about the '42'.

However, he was more cautious when referring to the future of Florian Wirtz, although he left it open to a possible offer for Leverkusen's '9' next summer. "Bayern should always be interested in great German players, but Uli Hoeness (Bavarian honorary president) has always said that the club must act with an economic sense; this is the key," said the Bavarian CEO.

In principle, the operation would not be easy for the Munich team, since the transfer of the forward would be around 100 million euros. Barça sees in Pulheim an ideal successor for Robert Lewandowski, but Leverkusen's financial aspirations may close the door to the 21-year-old forward, who is also on Real Madrid's radar.
