The last events can have changed the priorities of the FC Barcelona of face to the signings, although they follow having several open fronts
By the moment, the big revolution that expected in the FC Barcelona after the humillante 2-8 in quarter-finals of the past edition of the Champions League against the Bayern of Munich seems quite enquistada. Hardly they have confirmed the drops of Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal, whereas only they have arrived the three footballers that already were signed before the arrival of Ronald Koeman: Francisco Trincao, Pedri González and Miralem Pjanic.
Of course, the economic crisis that has generated as a result of the coronavirus conditions the changes in the staff and does that it was much more complicated to carry them in return. These difficulties experienced by the technical office also force to go adapting the sportive plans in function of the circumstances of each moment, that of course are not at all stable given the current stage.
Guardiola Announced that Eric García would not renew
Up to now, the big priority of the sportive direction was fichar to a leading centre, but the events of the last hours have supposed a reverse for these plans. The agents of Lautaro Martínez, main aim of the club, confirmed that the Argentinian will remain in the Inter of Milan whereas Jean Michel Classrooms, president of the Olympique of Lyon, ensured that his homologous in the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, confessed him that it sees for now impossible the arrival of Memphis Depay.
Besides, Luis Suárez there would be descartado his set off for the Juventus of Turín, one of the few teams that convinced him, and now his exit seems more complicated. It is thus that Ronald Koeman begins to assume that unless there are important changes in the situation of the Uruguayan, is likely that this finish remaining and that only if the 'gunman' goes can finish arriving Memphis Depay, that is his personal request.
Given the complications to carry out the changes in the forward, the FC Barcelona would centre now in his another big priority: fichar to a central defence. With Samuel Umtiti out of the plans of Ronald Koeman although without a clear exit, the Dutch technician only has Gerard Hammered (of 33 years), Clément Lenglet and the youngster Ronald Araújo. Definitely, the one of head office is the feeblest position and, therefore, the priority of the technical office.
Eric García is the favourite
In the FC Barcelona there is total consensus about the best option for the club. It treats of Eric García, head office of 19 years that formed in the Masia and that finishes agreement with the Manchester City in 2021. Said situation gives to the FC Barcelona a big opportunity of fichar to a player that has been key for Pep Guardiola but that has clear that it wants to dress of Barcelona. Ramon Plans, technical secretary culé, has recognised that the Catalan likes a lot and the club culé could tighten by him.
