Barça is expecting an offer from Palmeiras for Vitor Roque. The 'verdao' is very interested in the forward, but Betis and the player himself will have the final say
With just under ten days until the transfer market closes in Brazil, the saga of Vitor Roque is heating up. The FC Barcelona views his transfer to Palmeiras positively as long as they can reach a favorable financial agreement, although they do not yet have a formal offer on the table. The culés hope to receive at least 27 million euros for the forward, but they are still waiting for the deal between the South American club and the player.
At Can Barça, they have made it clear that the exit door will be open now or in June, but it must be the 'Tigrinho' himself who makes the final decision, and it must receive the green light from Betis, something the culés see as viable given the good relationship between the clubs.
According to 'SPORT', the Catalans are on standby, and although they are aware of the interest from Abel Ferreira and there are rumors of a proposal of 24 'kilos' for the player, negotiations have not yet started due to the lack of movement in the operation, which will only begin with the 'OK' from the scorer.
The blaugranas would be satisfied to resolve the Roque file definitively, but for that, a minimum offer of 27 'kilos' will be necessary to 'amortize' the 30 million invested in the player's signing, who does not fit into the club's future plans. For that reason, they hope to part ways with him through a sale to avoid another loan, given that his time at Benito Villamarín has also been unproductive, which is why his move to Palmeiras seems like the best possible solution.
Vitor Roque is reluctant to return to Brazil
The forward, for his part, is reluctant to return to the Brasileirao, although he understands that his situation at Betis is complicated. Although the 'verdiblancos' maintain that they count on him, the reality is that his participation will be greatly diminished after the arrival of 'Cucho' Hernández and Palmeiras offers him, in addition to a very attractive salary, the possibility of being their franchise player, making the offer tempting.
If Roque gives the green light, the agreement could be closed rapidly in the coming days. Otherwise, the operation would remain open for June, when the player returns to Barça from his loan in Seville. Meanwhile, the culés insist on receiving the previously mentioned 27 million euros and retaining a percentage of a future sale of the attacker, as at 19 years old, the player has a promising career ahead of him.
Similarly, 'Tigrinho' also has a reputation in Europe, especially in Portugal, but the figures they would offer do not come close to what Palmeiras can pay. The saga is more alive than ever, and if it is not resolved soon, it will extend until June.
