Calendar of FC Barcelona

Dani Olmo is getting closer to officially being a FC Barcelona player. The international with the Spanish team underwent the respective medical tests this Wednesday morning and the results were satisfactory. The midfielder's operation has been speeding up since last Tuesday, when the Barça entity specified the conditions for his return to Barcelona with RB Leipzig.

The Euro 2024 champion arrived early in the morning on August 7 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where physical examinations were carried out prior to the official announcement of his signing. The footballer underwent a first phase of medical examination and subsequently completed the physical examination at a hospital in Barcelona. Although there was some concern due to the Egarense's injury history, the results were positive and now all that remains is to sign the contract.

The announcement of Olmo's incorporation into Hansi Flick's squad will come in the next few hours. The midfielder will sign for six seasons, until June 2030 and everything indicates that he will join the group next Saturday, when the entire team returns to training after the American tour. For its part, Barça will have to pay Leipzig a figure that would be around 62 million euros for the transfer of Dani, divided between 55 fixed and 7 in variables.

Olmo will debut at the Gamper

Olmo's long-awaited debut with the Barça shirt will take place next Monday, August 12, in the Joan Gamper Trophy dispute. The Catalan team will face AS Monaco in the first match of the season in front of the Barcelona fans, this being the ideal moment to present the footballer in front of his new audience at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.
