Paulo Dybala's future could take a turn this summer as he could be leaving Roma. If the Argentine leaves the team, the 'Loba' could launch an offensive to sign one of the left wingers that FC Barcelona is considering to reinforce its attack front in case Nico Williams does not arrive

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The FC Barcelona, faced with the lack of clarity regarding its options to acquire Nico Williams from Athletic Club this summer, is considering various top options to strengthen the left wing, taking into account the club's complicated financial situation. In this regard, an unexpected but high-quality alternative has recently emerged: Federico Chiesa.

The 26-year-old left winger who currently plays for Juventus, apparently does not fit into the plans of the new coach of the 'Vecchia Signora', Thiago Motta. Therefore, a new destination is being sought for him in this summer transfer window, as his contract with the 'bianconeri' extends until June 30, 2025, and the Turin team would not want to lose him without receiving a financial compensation, requesting a fee between 15 and 20 million euros for his transfer, an amount that could be affordable considering the high sporting level that the Genoese forward can offer.

At this point, Chiesa, who has had an interesting 2023/24 season in terms of goals scored, with 10 goals in 37 matches, is being monitored by several top teams in Europe. These clubs would be willing, without hesitation, to make an offer that could deprive the Blaugrana team of this valuable option to strengthen their attacking line. One of these teams is none other than Daniele de Rossi's Roma, which is reportedly considering his signing in case one of their key players in the offensive front decides to move to another team.

Dybala could 'push' Chiesa to Roma

In this scenario, the name of Paulo Dybala appears, who according to various sources could be on his way to Saudi football, specifically Al Qadsiah, a team that has significantly strengthened this summer with players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nacho Fernández, Equi Fernández, Nahitan Nández, Julián Quiñones, and Koen Casteels, and is now looking to add the 30-year-old Argentine forward.

It has been mentioned that the Saudi squad would be willing to offer the 'Joya' a substantial contract of around 20 million euros per year for four seasons. If Dybala accepts this offer and the clubs reach an agreement, it would not be surprising if Roma decides to sign a player like Federico Chiesa, with experience in Serie A after playing for Fiorentina and Juventus, which would raise the quality of their attack, already reinforced this season with the arrival of Artem Dovbyk from Girona and Matías Soulé from Juventus.
