Fermín López will be a Barça player, in principle, for five more years. Barça has improved and extended the Andalusian's contract, whose renewal will be made official once the return to the 1/1 rule is confirmed

The Andalusian renewed his link with the institution in August 2023 until 2027 with a reserve team card, and became a first-team player before the matches stipulated in the contract were completed to make the definitive jump to the first team. His 'explosion' at the 2024 Paris Olympics made him one of the club's most valuable assets, which is why the Blaugranas reached an agreement with the player's agent to improve and extend his contract.
The factor delaying the official announcement of Fermin's renewal
According to 'Relevo', Barça will tie Fermin for five more years, but the announcement of his renewal will not be made official until the Catalan club returns to the long-awaited 1/1 rule.
