The FC Barcelona board is very clear about how much money to ask for Ferran Torres. Although, for now, there are no formal offers for the '7', there is confidence about his sale in the summer

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Ferran Torres is one of the players that excites the FC Barcelona board regarding a future sale. The one from Foios has been responding very well as a substitute in recent matches, a role he performed excellently last season with Xavi Hernández on the bench. His goals against Mallorca, Betis, and Dortmund could reactivate market interest in the '7', one of the forwards identified as possible 'discarded' for the next season.

For now, the club does not have formal offers for the 'Shark', but Deco and Joan Laporta know that, in England, several clubs have their eyes on the 24-year-old player. Newcastle is one of the clubs that has been most attentive to the situation of the Valencian, although the economic aspirations of Barça and the player's stance cooled negotiations last summer.

Barça is clear: Ferran will not leave for a low amount

Looking ahead to the next summer market, the Catalans are not willing to let Ferran go for less than 30 million euros, an amount equivalent to his current market value. Barça paid 55 'kilos' to Manchester City in 2022 and the board hopes to recover the largest possible percentage of that investment, although the records of the Spanish international with the Blaugrana shirt are acceptable.

Torres has 30 goals and 15 assists in 128 official matches. The winger has a contract until 2026, but for now, there is no evident interest from the club in renewing him. However, a contract extension would be a logical move in the final stretch of the coming year if, after the summer market, his departure is not resolved. Barça is not willing to give away the 'Shark', as he is still a young player with significant room for improvement.
