The FC Barcelona board is preparing several moves in the winter market once the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor are resolved. At least four players could leave Barça in January

Calendar of FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona has several 'discarded' players in its squad for the second half of the 2024/25 season. The return to the 1:1 rule allows the club to invest every euro earned in the market into new signings, a determining factor for the board to decide to enter a market where Barça usually does not make significant additions. However, Hansi Flick hopes to incorporate at least one attacking reinforcement this January. For now, these are the four players on the way out during the winter market.

Ansu Fati

The case of the '10' generates a lot of concern at Can Barça, as he is currently the last option in attack in the coaching staff's plans. Sevilla was very interested in his loan, but Barça has definitively broken off relations with the Andalusian team following their stance on the 'Olmo case'. His departure may take shape towards the end of the winter transfer window, perhaps to another foreign team.

Pau Víctor

The forward, like Dani Olmo, hopes that Barça resolves his registration this week. Once he recovers his license, he will likely be loaned to Betis, as it is very difficult for him to accumulate quality minutes in the azulgrana squad, beyond being a player favored by Hansi Flick. Ferran Torres and Fermín López will continue to be the main offensive options for the German for the remainder of the season.

Eric García

Hansi Flick trusts him as an alternative for the defensive pivot, as he demonstrated on Saturday in Barbastro, but Girona insists on signing him. The board's stance is clear regarding Eric: if Dani Olmo's registration is resolved, he will return to Montilivi. This season, Eric has played 14 matches (631 minutes), scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.

Andreas Christensen

The Dane is expected to return this month after missing the entire first half of the season due to a tendinopathy in his left Achilles. The club considers him a valuable asset for the summer market, but if an offer of around 20 million euros arrives, he will leave to facilitate the signing of another reinforcement. Juventus is one of the clubs interested in him.
