Ferran Jutglà could return to Catalonia this summer. Girona is very interested in the former Barça youth player, now a forward for Bruges.

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Girona seems to have chosen Ferran Jutglà as their next goalscorer for the upcoming season. The forward trained at FC Barcelona appears ready to return to Spain or another 'top' league, after three seasons in Bruges where he has scored 38 goals and provided 22 assists in 138 official matches. At Barça Atlètic, he scored 19 goals in 32 appearances before moving to Belgium.

According to 'El Nacional', Míchel has set his sights on the forward trained at Barça as a star reinforcement for the 25-26 season. Girona has not managed to recover from the departures of Artem Dovbyk (Roma) and Savinho (Manchester City), despite the arrivals of Abel Ruiz and Bojan Miovski. In this sense, the player from Sant Julià de Vilatorta would be the great 'albirroja' hope to try to return to European competitions in 2026.

Jutglà is under contract until the end of next season and could return to Spain for a fee close to 7 million euros, a slightly higher amount than what Bruges paid Barça for his transfer in 2022. The azulgrana team closed the sale for 5 'kilos', also reserving 10% of a future sale.

Other clubs interested in Ferran Jutglà

Ferran Jutglà is having a very good moment in Belgium, with 12 goals and 5 assists in the current campaign, which has made him a target for several European clubs. Not surprisingly, clubs like Sevilla, Espanyol, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, and Villarreal have been mentioned as possible interested parties in his signing for the upcoming summer market.

The 26-year-old forward is under contract with Club Bruges until June 2026, but his situation could change if he does not renew, which could lead to an affordable transfer for Girona or any other Spanish club with a limited budget. Ferran made his debut with the azulgrana first team in the 2021-22 season, scoring a couple of goals (one in La Liga and another in the Cup) in nine appearances.
