FC Barcelona seems to be far from any uncertainty regarding the future of Ansu Fati in the Barça entity. The closing of the 2024/25 summer transfer market is approaching, and with only a few days left, FC Barcelona still doesn't shed much light on what will happen with the future of one of the most debated players recently in the Culé team: Ansu Fati. The Bissau-born player, unfortunately, after suffering an injury on the sole of his right foot, could not showcase himself as he would have liked in the preseason under the watchful eye of Hansi Flick.
This has created a climate of uncertainty around the forward's figure. Will he stay or will he leave? It seems to be the most repeated question. However, this apparently already has a clear answer and the same would go in line with what has been recently commented: Ansu stays! At least that's what 'Relevo' suggests, asserting that the club has the idea for him to make a 'fresh start' in his adventure as a Barça player.
Under this premise, the injury would not have changed the plans of the Catalan entity with the talented academy graduate, who is currently not on the way out, especially considering the team lacks natural left wingers who can strengthen that position. In this context, if the German coach can recover the best version of the former wearer of the '10' shirt, he will definitely be adding a player who, before all the injuries he suffered, demonstrated sublime talent and qualities that, if regained, will make Barça have a top striker.
Will FC Barcelona maintain its stance until the end of the market?
Now we will have to see how these last days of the market unfold, as while the forecast is for him to stay, it is not inconceivable that if a stellar left winger is added, a new loan move might be sought for him. This happened last season when in the final days of the 23/24 summer market, even after seeing some minutes in LaLiga, he was loaned to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Similarly, in this regard, we cannot overlook the detail that Ansu is among the 'top 5' highest earners at the Catalan club, approximately €13.9 million gross per season (€6.7 million net). A sum difficult to fit into the Barcelona squad, and becomes less attractive when considering that it is paid for a player who is currently not a starter.
