Vitor Roque has all the numbers to not continue at FC Barcelona after the feeling within the club is that the forward's future is far from Barcelona. Despite having arrived only eight months ago, the Brazilian has still not convinced the staff, now headed by Hansi Flick, something that was evident with his 'grey' match in the early hours of this Wednesday against Manchester City.

Flick placed him on the left wing, with Pau Víctor as a partner in the 9 position and his performance left much to be desired. Now, the Minas Gerais native seems to need to find a new team, at least until 2025, and in Italy they maintain the idea that they can help Barça with that operation, which right now seems very necessary if the club does not want to end up signing him up to play very few minutes.

The Barça could receive an important help from Italy

And after the interest of Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia appeared a few days ago, in Rome they are again insisting on the option of Lazio as a possible destination for Vitor Roque. A couple of weeks ago the news emerged that Lazio would look favourably on asking for the loan of the striker with an option to buy valued at 25 million euros, but now some statements by the president Claudio Lotito to the newspaper 'Il Messaggero' have fuelled the hypothesis that the striker could end up in Serie A.

Asked about possible reinforcements for the team, Lotito assured that "we will keep an important player from 2005", the year in which Vitor Roque was born, so the words of the president of Lazio suggest that they will try to secure his incorporation. Now it remains to be seen whether it will be on loan or a permanent transfer, remembering that the Blaugrana team paid a fixed 30 million euros for him, so it would be the only figure to take into account when trying to recover part of the investment.

It must be remembered that Lazio is looking for a striker after the departure of Ciro Immobile to Besiktas and the possible return of Taty Castellanos to Girona as a replacement for Artem Dovbyk. Both operations put Vitor Roque as one of the star reinforcements of the Italian team, where he would also have enough room to show if he is ready for European football.
