Jonathan Tah is a big target for Inter Milan next summer. The Nerazzurri's entry into the bidding threatens the German's arrival in La Liga

Calendar of FC Barcelona

A new chapter has opened in the Jonathan Tah soap opera. The defender is one of the most coveted pieces in the 2025 transfer market, when his contract with Bayer Leverkusen comes to an end. The footballer seems determined not to renew his commitment to aspirin, so the continent's big clubs have set the machinery in motion to try to incorporate him into their teams.

Two of the most interested are FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, who hope to reinforce the centre of their defence during the next summer. The Catalans would have an advantage in the 'race' for the defender, since the good relationship that the footballer maintains with Hansi Flick is the main 'trump card' in the operation of the culés, while the merengues, whose rearguard is in a box, will pull out their wallet to convince him to join the squad under the same formula as David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger.

Inter Milan, great rival of both clubs in the 'bidding'

Despite several reports that the player would like to leave Germany and La Liga would be one of his preferred destinations, Inter Milan have presented themselves as a strong competitor in the 'race' for the footballer. According to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport', the 'nerazzurri' want to incorporate Tah by any means, considering him a great market opportunity since he would arrive as a free agent at Giuseppe Meazza.

Those directed by Simone Inzaghi see the 28-year-old German as the ideal element to rejuvenate a rearguard in which three players who play in the axis of the defense have clearly exceeded thirty: the Dutchman Stefan de Vrij (32) and the Italians Francesco Acerbi (37) and Matteo Darmian (35). For this reason, the Milan team is looking to make the most of its options and is expected to begin contacting his entourage soon, becoming a tough rival for the Catalans and the Merengues in their attempt to secure the signing of one of the 'sweethearts' of the free agency.
