Is FC Barcelona waiting? Rashford 'turns down' a huge Arab offer

The future of Marcus Rashford seems to be moving further away from Old Trafford in 2025. The 27-year-old player, one of the alternatives that FC Barcelona has on its radar to strengthen the left flank, is not considered by coach Ruben Amorim and has received very interesting offers to leave Manchester United in the winter market that opened this week. 

According to 'TalkSport', the English international recently rejected an offer of 42 million euros to join an Arab club. The winger still has a contract until 2028 and 'Man U' hopes to receive at least 50 'million' for his transfer. In that sense, the Saudi offer may not have been the most attractive for the 'red devils', but it was certainly appealing in terms of salary for the '10', who has clear priorities for the future.

Rashford, ready to take the leap to another European 'giant'

Similarly, the 'Daily Mail' leaked a couple of very interesting proposals from Turkey, which Marcus did not hesitate to reject for a second. For the forward, the priority is to sign with a European 'giant', with Barcelona being the option that attracts him the most. However, the Catalans have not yet fully entered the bidding for Rashford, as his salary (around 18 'million' gross per season) and physical irregularity raise many doubts for the future.

The last 'top' club linked with the '10' of United was none other than Napoli. In this regard, 'The Sun' leaked the possible interest of Manchester in negotiating a swap for Victor Osimhen, but the Nigerian forward is on loan at Galatasaray until the end of the 2024/25 season and the Turks have no intention of letting the '9' go in January. Meanwhile, Marcus continues to wait to accumulate minutes under Amorim's orders, who has left him out of the last three Premier League matches.
