The return of the legendary 'MSN' that marked an era at FC Barcelona a decade ago continues to generate excitement in Inter Miami and Major League Soccer (MLS). The latest to refer to the possible reunion of the South American attacking trio in the United States was Luis Suárez, who did not hide his desire to play alongside Neymar Jr. 'Lucho' arrived in Miami a year ago, alongside Leo Messi.

"Everyone knows what Ney is like as a player, what we generated during the time we were together... Today we are in another era with much more age, but it always excites you to have a player like Ney and the quality he can bring to the team", began saying the experienced Uruguayan forward, who is preparing for his second season with 'The Herons' after a 2024 where he scored 25 goals in 37 matches, in addition to 12 assists.

In that sense, Suárez recalled the Brazilian's statements to the 'CNN' network, where he admitted that, while he is happy now at Al Hilal, anything can happen in the future. "These are expectations and hopes that can be generated, but from there to them materializing is difficult and very complicated", argued 'Lucho'. Neymar's contract ends in June with the Saudi team, and among his possible destinations for 2025-26, the option of returning to his country with Santos has also been mentioned.

Mascherano believes it is "impossible" to sign Neymar this year

For his part, the new coach of Inter Miami, Javier Mascherano, was less optimistic when referring to the club's chances of acquiring the services of the '10' from Al Hilal. The Argentine acknowledged that, for now, there are no negotiations underway, although he would love to have him in the pink squad. "We know the MLS salary cap rules and at this moment it is impossible for us to have him", explained the former FC Barcelona player.

Inter Miami also has to resolve the continuity of Leo Messi, whose contract ends in December. Additionally, the management must move to seek reinforcements to try to achieve the goal that eluded them in 2024: to win the MLS; as well as to perform well in the upcoming Club World Cup, where 'The Herons' will be hosts. For now, the team is preparing to start preseason.
