This Monday, along with the lawyers from LaLiga, FC Barcelona visited the Commercial Court number 10 of the City of Barcelona to present to Judge Ignacio Fernández de Senespleda the request for precautionary measures that would allow the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor for the upcoming month of January.
The blue and burgundy entity brought this lawsuit to the courts considering that, while resolving the discrepancies with the league regarding the registrations of both players, they should have the right to play. The club believed that, after the discussions they had a few weeks ago with the league following the agreement with Nike, they would have sufficient salary margin to register them.
The date when Barça will know the judge's resolution
However, LaLiga has communicated to them that the conditions are still not met, which has forced the Catalan institution to activate this legal avenue. The judge will summon those involved in the case in the coming days to present their arguments, and it is expected that the final decision on the registration of the two footballers will be announced next Friday, as reported by 'Marca'.
For their part, calm reigns in the environments of Olmo and Víctor, as despite their registrations with the league expiring on December 31, the players and their agents are confident that they will remain registered with the team starting January 1.
Barça, for its part, continues to seek different income sources to bring more money into the club's coffers to meet the financial 'fair play' required by LaLiga, with the certainty that they will resolve the situation of both footballers.
