One of the names that seems to be better regarded in relation to the departure operation of FC Barcelona is Mika Faye. The Senegalese defender arrived at the Blaugrana team last summer for 1.5 million euros and, after a standout 23/24 season with Barça Atlètic, has undergone a significant process of revaluation, suggesting that the Catalan side could make a very good profit from him.
Based on this premise, the Culés continue to receive interesting and attractive offers for the former NK Kustošija player. The latest of these comes from Turkey, specifically from Besiktas, a team that, as reported by the Turkish newspaper 'Takvim', has offered around 10 million euros. This proposal is backed by the coach of the 'Black Eagles', Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who maintains a close friendship with the Barcelona club's sporting director, Deco, and has already explored some operations with the Catalan squad.
According to this source, the Turks would offer Mika Faye attractive salary conditions. Furthermore, they would also be willing to include a buy-back clause for the Catalan team. This condition could add considerable appeal to the negotiation, although in terms of payment, it would not initially meet the expectations of the Blaugranas, who were hoping to obtain around 15 million euros for the Senegalese player.
Will FC Barcelona prioritize this offer over the one made by Stade Rennes for Faye?
Now we will have to wait and see how this transaction unfolds, considering also the interest of Stade Rennes in the defender. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the French side wishes to offer 10 million euros plus a clause that would allow FC Barcelona to retain a 20-25% share in any future transfer. This proposal could also be attractive to the Blaugrana club.
