Joshua Kimmich y Leroy Sané comienzan a perder peso en la agenda de futuribles del Barça. Las irrupciones de Casadó, Bernal y Yamal les han dejado sin sitio

Calendar of FC Barcelona

With the return to the 1/1 rule upon us, the 2025 transfer market is shaping up to be a very busy one at FC Barcelona. The Catalan club is looking to reinforce some positions in the team to make the definitive leap in quality and be favourites for all the titles. However, the spectacular start to Hansi Flick's project, added to the 'irruption' of young 'cracks' from La Masia, has 'disrupted' the club's plans.

The sporting management considered the arrival of a pivot of guarantees to take charge of the midfield and, finally, cover the loss of Sergio Busquets who, until last summer, seemed irreplaceable, to be a priority. For this reason, names such as Amadou Onana, N'golo Kanté or Joshua Kimmich resonated in Barcelona as possible signings for the Catalans, with the German being the great favourite of the club and Flick.

The Bayern Munich player's contract with the Bavarians ends in 2025, so the Catalans tried to find a way to sign him for the current season. However, the high figures handled in his operation and, above all, the emergence of young figures such as Marc Casadó and Marc Bernal, ruled out his arrival. In fact, the club fully trusts the two youth players, which is why Kimmich's arrival would no longer be essential for the institution.

Leroy Sané, another alternative ruled out by Barça

This is reported by 'Mundo Deportivo', where they add that Leroy Sané would also no longer be a real option for Barça in the next transfer window. The German winger has been the subject of several rumours linking him to the Blaugrana entity because his commitment to Bayern comes to an end on June 30, 2025, making him an attractive opportunity in the market.

Despite this, the presence of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha would leave him without a place in a squad where the player would demand a leading role. While the Brazilian has established himself as one of the team's great figures this season, the player from Mataró has taken a step forward as the new great football star. Scenarios that, together with the projection of the 'Marcs', make it clear that the future of the club is at home.
