Pablo Torre spoke to 'Relevo' about his current situation at FC Barcelona. Although the Cantabrian hopes to gain more prominence, he does not rule out leaving in the winter

FC Barcelona are not ruling out receiving offers for Pablo Torre in the winter transfer market. The Soto de la Marina native has left a good impression in the few opportunities he has had, but in a recent interview he made clear his desire to get more minutes, something that is complicated due to the tough competition in the Barça midfield.

"There is still a month and a half left (for the transfer market to open) in which I must focus on Barcelona. After that, we will see what happens," said the Cantabrian in a chat with 'Relevo'. However, he made it clear that, for the moment, he is confident in his chances of earning a place at Barça. "I have always been confident. If not... I would have already left. I know what I can do if I have confidence," argued the 21-year-old player.

For Torre, the returns of Dani Olmo, Fermín López and Gavi himself have represented a great obstacle to having quality minutes in the League and Champions League. The '14' has only accumulated 209 minutes in 6 games this season, half of them as a starter (all in LaLiga). So far he has 3 goals and 1 assist, although since his double against Sevilla he has not entered the field again in the following five games. Hence, in view of the winter market, he is one of those marked to leave.

Pablo Torre reveals what internal competition is like in Barcelona

On the other hand, Pablo revealed details about his day to day life in Barcelona. Although the footballer admitted feeling frustrated at times for not playing more minutes than he, in theory, should deserve, he valued the work of the coaching staff to stimulate hard work and internal competition.

"During the season there are moments for everyone because, unfortunately, injuries occur. I wanted to try to take advantage of all those moments. So far I have been able to do so, but there is a lot of healthy competition," argued the Soto de la Marina player.

In that sense, he made it clear that, beyond Hansi Flick's seriousness, he is very affectionate with the entire squad, especially with those who play less. "We have a very healthy relationship in the locker room, with a lot of respect. That is being reflected on the pitch. We feel great," Torre pointed out in his chat with 'Relevo'.
